Join us as we go live for the premiere of the Call For Caring presents The Empowerment Hour!  The Empowerment hour will bring inspiration, education, and resources to our audience of family caregivers. The tangible information provided can be applied immediately after listening to the podcast. The Empowerment Hour a biweekly show, created from the series Call For Caring on Purpose via the Finding Your Forte Channel. The guests will not only include experts in all areas of caregiving but also every day caregivers sharing their experience to uplift and support your caregiver journey. We are excited to return with additional motivating and informative guests. We look forward to you tuning in and sharing with a friend.

Enid Wright, RN, PHCN is the owner and administrator of Sovereign Hospice, Inc in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Ms. Wright has an extensive background as a Registered Nurse and British trained Midwife with 40+ years of practical experience in hospice and palliative care, hospitals and home health care as Patient Care Nurse Manager, nurse, midwife, and preceptor.

Cara Pellino has a background in intellectual and developmental disabilities and has been working in Aging Services since 2006. She was instrumental in the development and implementation of Georgia’s first non-Medicaid, consumer-directed program, Support Options. Cara has been working in the Aging & Independence Services Group at the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) since 2014. During the COVID pandemic, Cara implemented CARES Flex, a consumer-directed program to address COVID-related needs and the program continues today. She has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from St. Bonaventure University in New York as well as a bachelor’s in Psychology from Kennesaw State University.
