This was such an enlightening discussion! Thank you both for exploring the topic of mental health and explaining it in a manner that is very understandable. You have shed light on challenges that many people have, but are afraid to discuss either because it is not socially acceptable or because they are scared of being judged as inadequate. You also talked about mental health in a way that is easily understood by others. Like Jacquelyn said, she has seen people with those behaviors, but never thought of that as due to a mental health challenge.
I will remember the “hot house orchid” referral and will probably borrow that from you on occasion.
You ladies are inspirational. Thank you!
